A freelance artist based in San Diego, his career began in theatre designing sets and costumes but has since taken him to many other aspects of commercial art, including illustration, furniture design, comics, and concept art for video games.
His clients include Wizards of the Coast, Steve Jackson Games, Chaosium Inc.,

He is also the co-creator of the illustrated picture books

Larissa Marantz is currently illustrating Blake Laser, a graphic novel to be published by HarperCollins in 2022.
